Hao, founder of BRIDGEPOD

Hi, I'm Hao.

BRIDGEPOD · Seattle, WA

I was one of the first three team members of a US–China SaaS business. Customers have begun onboarding and using the product. My role connects US business priorities with China-based product and engineering execution.

How I believe teams work best

I believe in the strength of a team: give people room to apply their expertise and do good work together.

My role is to help business and engineering teams clarify their goals and understand each other, so professional judgment is respected and collaboration keeps moving forward.

What I have worked on

My experience spans overseas-client outsourcing teams, product development teams and, more recently, AI-assisted engineering workflows. I have participated in product strategy and competitive analysis, and helped connect US requirements with China-side execution.

I receive engineering updates, surface blockers and risks, coordinate changes in priorities, and participate in testing. My operating work has included QA improvements, weekly and monthly reporting, probationary evaluations and quarterly performance-review criteria alongside HR and other stakeholders.

Helping teams adopt AI-assisted development

In late 2025, I proposed adopting AI-assisted development and helped coordinate tool evaluation, changes to engineering and QA workflows, and adoption follow-up alongside engineering and management colleagues. My contribution focused on operational change and coordination, rather than technical architecture or every engineering implementation.

Why I'm building BRIDGEPOD

Growing a team also creates coordination work: defining roles, organizing evaluations, clarifying responsibilities and making sure issues reach the right people.

I’m building BRIDGEPOD to help US founders build products with technical teams in China. Starting with the right China-based technical lead, I aim to coordinate hiring, onboarding and day-to-day delivery, keeping US product goals and China-side execution aligned.

What I would be responsible for

I coordinate recruiting, initial interviews, onboarding and operating follow-up. Your technical team evaluates candidates and retains final hiring decisions, architecture, engineering standards, code-review authority and production deployment control. A China-side technical lead can support local technical coordination and later hiring within the agreed remit.

Where things stand

BRIDGEPOD is a separate, early-stage initiative. The experience described here comes from my professional work, not BRIDGEPOD client engagements, and does not imply employer endorsement. BRIDGEPOD does not yet have independent customer case studies.

Who I'd like to meet

You are welcome to connect at any stage, from exploring an idea to validating a product or growing a team. I also welcome potential teammates and collaborators interested in this direction. Specific opportunities depend on project needs.
